Alabama is bringing decades of country music hits to the Vibrant Arena at The Mark in May.
The band’s “Roll On 2 North America” tour makes a stop in Moline on May 19. Tickets go on sale Friday, March 1 at 10 a.m. at the Vibrant Arena box office, 1201 River Drive in Moline or through Ticketmaster.
Over 50 years ago, cousins Teddy Gentry, Randy Owen and the late Jeff Cook left Fort Payne, Ala. to play music at The Bowery, a Myrtle Beach, South Carolina bar. Alabama went on to sell 80 million albums and change country music.

The group brought rock style guitars, lights, pyrotechnics and sounds to the country audience that inspired some of today’s brightest country stars including Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan.
Alabama has racked up 43 #1 singles, including 21 #1 singles in a row, and won dozens of CMA, Grammy and ACM Awards. Their hits include “Mountain Music,” “Roll On,” “Dixieland Delight” and “If You’re Gonna Play in Texas (You Gotta Have a Fiddle in The Band).” They’re in the Country Music Hall of Fame and the Musicians Hall of Fame and have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
In November 2022, Alabama co-founder Jeff Cook died after a lengthy battle with Parkinson’s disease. Following his wishes, the band continues to tour on a limited basis, keeping the music they created alive for fans of all ages.
