Sandra Rhodes Walker was born on June 20, 1940, in Cook County, Georgia, to the late Malvin and Vancine Moore Rhodes.
She spent her formative years in the Middle Georgia area, primarily in Warner Robins and Chauncey.
In 1958, Sandra graduated from Dodge County High School.
Sandra then found employment at a shirt factory in McRae and also became an ASC affiliate, demonstrating her commitment to her work and community.
She married the love of her life, Charles E. Walker, on April 16, 1966. Together, they embarked on a journey that brought them to Warner Robins.

There the lady contributed her talents initially as a secretary and later as a Contract Specialist on Robins Air Force Base for an impressive 30 years.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 3, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.
A funeral service immediately followed at noon in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home.
Afterwards, Sandra Rhodes Walker was laid to rest in Milan City Cemetery, Milan, Georgia.
Instead of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Rhodes to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
